Moving and handling
Provide the essential knowledge and understanding of the safe process of moving people to prevent injury to themselves and the person being moved, whilst also covering the legal requirements regarding the handling of people.
Fire training
Ensure that carers are prepared should a fire occur, with this course teaching delegates the correct protocol to follow in an emergency situation. This is essential knowledge for ensuring the safety of yours and clients, and a basic fire safety understanding.
Health and Safety
The course helps carers to understand how to work safely and protect themselves, and clients, from harm. The course provides an introduction to all of the essential health and safety topics and ensures that carers have sufficient knowledge to prevent accidents and manage risks effectively.
